The story begins in London, where the British Prime Minister has passed away under mysterious circumstances. His funeral is a must-attend event for leaders of the western world. However, what starts out as the most protected event on Earth turns into a deadly plot to kill the world’s most powerful leaders, devastate every known landmark in the British capital, and unleash a terrifying vision of the future. Only three people have any hope of stopping it: the President of the United States, his formidable Secret Service head (Gerard Butler), and an English MI-6 agent who rightly trusts no one.
The movie is jam packed with action, explosives, gun fights and car chases around London. Big Ben; Houses of Parliament, London Bridge and the London Eye are symbols of the country’s power and financial stability. In the movie, iconic buildings and structures of the United Kingdom are under attack. The movie is fast paced and full of suspense and action from beginning to end. How will the authorities regain control of this situation? What role will Gerard Butler’s character play in this movie? Will Gerard Butler’s character survive the onslaught of terrorism in this movie?
London Has Fallen opens on January 22nd 2016 and also features returning stars Angela Bassett, Melissa Leo, Robert Forster, Sean O’Bryan and Radha Mitchell alongside new additions Jackie Earle Haley, Alon Aboutboul, Charlotte Riley and Waleed Zuaiter.
