It has been over a week since the Haiti earthquake took place. Rescue teams are beginning to lose hope as cries from the rubble fall silent.
There is still a lot to be done to help the Haiti earthquake victims.
A large line up of celebrities such as Olivia Wilde; Meryl Streep, Josh Brolin, Gerard Butler, Amy Pohler, and Olivia Wilde have donated their Golden Globes outfits to raise funds for the victims of the earthquake.
This is not the first time that Gerard Butler has supported charities in need. For example in June 2009, Gerard Butler donated funds to support the L’Aquilla earthquake victims, and made a charity appeal to help Children in Need back in November 2009.
Gerard Butler is saddened by the extent human suffering in this world and will do what he can to help those in need.
Gerard Butler’s clothes are up for grabs next week.
The charity auction starts on Monday January 25 2010. We will provide details on how you can participate in this charity event in due course.
In the mean time, the victims of the Haiti earthquake urgently require financial support to reduce the extent of human suffering in Haiti.
